Withdrawal & termination
How we handle withdrawal, refunds and termination — in plain language.
The essentials
As a consumer you may withdraw from any purchase (Project Token, 30 Simulation Tokens, Pro Plan) within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts when the contract is concluded.
How to withdraw
- Via our electronic withdrawal function — accessible without login. If you are signed in, your purchases from the last 14 days are offered for selection automatically (also linked under Billing).
- Or informally by email to info@pv-glarecheck.com.
What happens next
- You receive an immediate confirmation of receipt by email (with time and content of your withdrawal).
- We review the withdrawal and refund within 14 days using the original means of payment.
How we handle the details
- Immediate start: Since tokens and the Pro Plan are available immediately (you consent to this during checkout), the pro-rata value of services already provided is deducted in case of withdrawal. If the service is fully performed before the period ends, the right of withdrawal expires.
- Project Token: As long as the token has not been redeemed (i.e. no project has been created with it), we refund the full purchase price. Once redeemed, the value of the service already provided is offset; the 30 Simulation Tokens included in the package are part of the package price and are not refunded separately.
- Purchased, unused Simulation Tokens (top-ups) are refunded pro rata — capped at the amount actually paid.
- Tokens granted free of charge (demo, bonus, allocations) and the simulations included in a Project Token are excluded from refunds; free tokens are deemed to be used first.
- Pro Plan: Upon withdrawal you only pay the pro-rata value for the time already used.
Termination
The Pro Plan runs monthly and can be terminated at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. The free user agreement can be terminated at any time. Project Tokens and Simulation Tokens are one-off purchases without a term — there is nothing to terminate.
- Via our cancellation button — accessible without login, in the footer of every page as "Cancel contracts here". When signed in you can also cancel the subscription under Billing.
- You receive an immediate confirmation with content and time by email to your account address.
- Ordinary termination: scheduled automatically for the end of the paid period. All Pro features remain available until then; nothing more is charged. Projects and results remain available within the free plan, insofar as its limits permit.
- Extraordinary termination for good cause is reviewed personally; we reply within two working days.
- Retraction: the confirmation email contains a link to retract the termination with one click — also if someone else submitted it in your name.
