In brief
A project uses one project token and receives 30 simulation tokens; each simulation uses one of them. The plan (Free or PV-GlareCheck Pro) determines how many areas and points are possible per simulation and which additional features are available. Every account can create one demo project free of charge.
Prices are listed under "Plans & Packages" (/plans), invoices and receipts under "Billing".
3.1 How to
- Under "Plans & Packages", choose "Buy project", "Buy more tokens" or "Subscribe to Pro"; when buying more tokens, choose the project to which the tokens are credited.
- On the order page (payment service Stripe), optionally redeem a "Voucher code". Business customers in the EU tick "I’m purchasing as a business" and enter their VAT ID; the total price stays the same.
- Make the three declarations: acceptance of the terms and conditions, consent to the immediate start of the service with consequences for the right of withdrawal, and confirmation that PV-GlareCheck provides model-based glare analyses and not a full expert glare report. Without all three, the payment form does not load.
- After payment is received, the tokens are credited or Pro is activated. The invoice PDF usually appears under "Billing" after 1 to 2 minutes.

Simulation tokens belong to the project and are not transferable; they are bought in sets of 30. The demo project ("Create Demo Project", once per account) uses no project token, receives 2 simulation tokens and carries the watermark "DEMO" in the report, PDF and image downloads. If tokens are bought for it, it becomes a regular project, and the watermark is also removed from existing reports.
3.3 Plans Free and PV-GlareCheck Pro
Both plans calculate with the same method and the same temporal resolution.

All other features are available in both plans (Ch. 1). An area with dual orientation counts once. A simulation rejected because of the limits uses no token.
Term: PV-GlareCheck Pro is an account-bound monthly subscription; it includes no tokens, and projects still use project tokens. It renews automatically for one month at a time and can be canceled at any time effective at the end of the paid period. A Pro subscription reduced with a voucher code does not renew automatically; this is shown during the order process.
3.4 Cancellation and withdrawal
- Cancel Pro: "Cancel plan" on the Pro card under "Plans & Packages". The cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; until then, all Pro features remain available. "Undo cancellation" reverses it until that date.
- Cancellation button: "Cancel contracts here" in the footer of every page, without login. Enter name, email and contract (Pro subscription, free usage contract or account, or other) and declare the cancellation, either ordinary at the end of the period or extraordinary with the important reason stated. The confirmation with time and content is sent to the address entered and contains a link to withdraw the cancellation.
- Withdrawal: Purchases can be withdrawn within 14 days via "Withdraw from contract here" in the footer; when logged in, the purchases of the last 14 days are offered for selection. Crediting of services already provided is governed by the terms and conditions (sections 5, 6 and 11) and the page "Withdrawal & Termination" (/widerrufsrecht).
- Project and simulation tokens are one-time purchases without a term and are not canceled.
3.5 Points to note
- Storage: All projects of the account count. If there is not enough space (simulation 100 MB, each batch variant 100 MB, worst-case combination at least 50 MB or the size of the source simulations, PDF 25 MB), the action is rejected in advance, without using a token. Projects in the trash still occupy space for 30 days.
- Permanently deleted projects take their remaining simulation tokens with them. Deleting the demo project does not restore the allowance.
- After Pro ends, existing tracked areas can still be simulated; new ones can only be created with Pro.
- Deleting the account ("Delete account permanently" under "Settings", with password) removes all projects, simulations, reports and files. Invoice records are retained for ten years under § 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO), separately from the personal data. A Pro subscription that still renews must be canceled first; otherwise deletion is rejected ("Your Pro plan still renews. Cancel it first; then you can delete the account."). The remaining term of a canceled subscription and the balance of project and simulation tokens are forfeited without refund. The dialog lists them under "Forfeited without refund:"; deletion only takes place with the checkbox "I confirm that this is forfeited without refund." Undoing the cancellation is no longer possible afterwards.
